FACTS ABOUT ANNA

Anna has a very unique personality! When we first found her, she was very loving, in our laps, and just all over us. Then something happened. She just changed. After she was spade, she didn't want to have anything to do with us much and only wanted to be petted and held "on her terms". My husband and I were dismayed at this, but figured that her loving ways were probably due to the fact that she was in heat when we found her. About the only time that Anna  will "let" us pet her is when we're on the computer. We have a chair that we pull up beside our computer table and she jumps on it. While on the chair, she just purrs and loves being rubbed. She just eats this attention up! Any other time, you can just forget it!  She protests loudly when she's picked up. Sometimes though she just tolerates being held if she knows she'll be getting food!  We do wish she were a lap cat, but we love her just the same!

Anna has become more loving as she has gotten older. She is much more tolerant about being petted and picked up. I think she's starting to enjoy it! She and Speckles love playing with each other. They chase one another around the house and puff their fur up. Anna loves being petted while she's in the sun. We have skylights in our house and when Anna sees a patch of sun on the floor, she runs to it, sits down, meows, and wants to be petted!

She also enjoys riding in a chair. Anytime I pick up a chair to move it, she runs and jumps in it. Then I'll walk around with her in the chair. Anna just loves doing that! She'll put her paws on the edge of the chair and hold on!
